I have been a practicing dentist since 2004, post-graduating with a bachelor’s degree in dental surgery. I have been servicing the local community since 2007 through Drouin Dental, and I consider myself very fortunate to have found a career that I am whole-hearted about and thoroughly enjoy.
I am passionate about learning and my studies have continued over the years, from attaining a Masters degree in Public Health from Deakin University, to a FICCDE Fellowship in Orthodontics, together with extensive training in stem cell, implants and cosmetic dentistry. Presently, I am completing a diploma in Digital Orthodontics with Glasgow University.
I really enjoy getting to know my patients and meeting people from all walks of life. Through my work, I have become known for putting anxious patients at ease, usually with a cheeky joke or extraordinary tale. I believe it’s important to be gentle, to listen and to treat every patient with a considered, calm and gentle approach. And if I can manage to make a patient laugh – well, that’s always a bonus for me.
I have been blessed with two lovely daughters, and a wonderful woman called Sweta who has become my business partner, my wife and my life. It’s been an honour and a privilege to have been welcomed so openly into the local community, and I look forward to being of service to all of my patients for many years to come.
