How does Invisalign straighten your teeth? close
The clear aligners are worn for 2 weeks, 22 hours per day. The aligners are only removed for eating, drinking and brushing. Aligners are switched every fortnight until all aligners in your series are completed – at which point you have reached your end goal for straight teeth. As you replace each aligner, your teeth will move little by little each week, until they have straightened to their final position. Every four to eight weeks, you will visit us to ensure your treatment is progressing as planned and any necessary adjustments are made.

For the best possible results, it is important that you adhere to our instructions and wear the aligners for the recommended amount of time every day. Failure to do so will result in either the treatment taking longer to complete than it should, or the treatment will not be as effective as it could be.
